MY LATEST RESEARCH

I was awarded a Seed Grant from the Family Institute at Northwestern University to pursue research on the experiences of adult transnationally adopted Colombian adults who are in reunion with their first families. We analyzed our data in summer of 2021. Our fist publication can be found here. I am using the same data set for a secondary analysis of illicit or unethical adoption practices. My research on reparative models to address illicit adoption practices in order to draft a proposed model for Colombia is under consideration for an international academic compilation of reparative practices for transitional adoption corruptive practices. For more information on my research agenda please visit here.
